TST Defense was contracted to remove the center bridge window from the Forrest Sherman and install a new window assembly with new gaskets and sealant. Upon removal, it was discovered that the Government Furnished Material was only the glass, with no frame included. TST was able to quickly procure materials and reglaze the new glass, re-using the old frame. New hardware, new gaskets, and new sealant was used to return the window to an operational status. TST’s flexibility and ship window expertise allowed the contract work to proceed without interruption and be completed within the original availability dates without delay.
